Overview
Law on Call is looking for a Trademark Customer Service Representative who will aid clients with their with trademark filing problems and solutions.
In this role, you’ll support clients and potential clients by helping educate them about the trademark filing process. This includes answering calls and providing support to clients throughout all parts of the trademark process, from initial interest to new trademark filings to support for post-submission issues.
For example, you’ll answer questions about trademark specimens, the clearance search process, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) requirements, and general account issues. If clients have additional services with us, you’ll field questions about those, too.

Responsibilities

- Maintain client confidentiality
- Document clear notes on all client interactions for coworkers
- Work with the Trademark Team to learn the complexities of the trademark process
- Maintain a secure, quiet, distraction-free work environment
- Be flexible and take initiative to support other areas of the business as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Fast learner who knows how to make the most of available resources
- Ability to support various communication channels to deliver accurate and knowledgeable service with patience and empathy
- Supportive and collaborative team member who values feedback
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with navigating new software, USPTO website, and systems
- Excellent at finding creative solutions to problems and great at communicating with others
- Self-starter who can handle a heavy workload and/or keep leaders in the loop when ready for additional tasks
- Interest in trademarks and other legal services
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with trademarks
- Experience working in a law firm setting
