Trademark Filer

Overview:

Law On Call is looking for a trademark filer.

Ideally you have done this before or you’re an IP geek without the experience but super interested in it, as it’s a fascinating area of the law. Law on Call is the first Non Lawyer owned law firm in the US. As such you’ll be a part of a vibrant group where we focus on the customer instead of profits, ladder climbing, and billable hours. You will get to help our customers establish the proper documentation to get their trademarks approved in the highest standards of protection and strategy we can accomplish for them.

A Day in the Life:

You will work in an office in the wrong part of Salt Lake Valley with a really grumpy lawyer in the corner that is burnt out and doesn’t give a crap anymore in a confusing office where we hired a business unit leader but didn’t give him the resources to win with a weird boss boss who most people find unreasonable with incredibly high standards fighting the corporate bureaucracy machine to get this goofy little group to take care of our customers how we should. You will be understaffed right now, but you get the opportunity to make a difference as persistence is our super power. We will get there. Want to go along for the journey? You’ll help people understand their options of classifications for their mark so they don’t get a worthless mark, listen to our customers, help them generate the proper invoices and logos and material so you can win a great trademark for them that will help them protect their business as it grows.
