Overview
Law on Call is looking for a Trademark Attorney to join our growing team. We are one of the highest volume trademark law firms in the US and we’re just getting started. You will get to work with companies of all shapes and sizes to help them protect their IP.
With that in mind: Do you enjoy trolling small business and sending them endless cease and desist letters to put in a file for your client in case they need to show they guarded their mark someday? Just kidding. Kind of. But wouldn’t it be neat to help a client register their trademark, then continue helping them enforce their IP rights and maintain mark strength? That would be fun. Or what about helping a client turn a not-so-strong trademark into something that’s way more enforceable? That would be pretty cool, too.
A Day in the Life
You’ll file a lot of trademarks. Talk to a lot of clients. Answer a lot of questions. Calm clients down when they realize someone is using their hard earned name. Send a few cease and desist letters. Teach your customer service reps, legal assistants, paralegals, and trademark filers about the law and get to enjoy watching them grow a career for themselves and you get to learn a crazy new skill as a lawyer: helping other employees around you develop.
